Everett Visits Paralysis Researchers (ap)

Former Buffalo Bills tight end Kevin Everett, center, tours The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis that is credited with helping him recover from a life-threatening spinal cord injury Friday March 28, 2008 in Miami. The program is based at the medical school at the University of Miami, Everett's alma mater. A Bills doctor placed Everett into moderate hypothermia as he was carted into an ambulance. The doctor had learned of the experimental method to limit swelling and inflammation at a Miami Project seminar.
